Shonto is a Rio son and our pick of the litter male. He is owned by David and Shelley Mowry and myself. The Mowry's are very involved in Indian culture native to Arizona and that is where the name Shonto comes from. They were kind enough to agree for me to show him and were so happy that his first weekend of shows at 6 months and 1 and 2 days of age, he won Winner's Dog both days. I don't think they believed he could do it until they saw it for themselves since it was his first show and he was competing against older dogs. Definitely his daddy's son.
