Rusty is out of the Maxine/Ready litter. He was supposed to be Steve Dana's hunting buddy in Henderson,Nevada, but he was so nice we asked him if we could try showing him. We put him and his sister in their first shows at 6 months of age and what a surprise when the judge pointed to us for Winner's Dog/Best Of Winners two days in a row. He took home both majors in his first two days of showing. My mouth literally dropped open when we won since he still was so young and inexperienced. His sister also won that weekend and received her first set of points two of the 3 days. Rusty finished his championship in style as a Specialty Winner's Dog/Best of Winners for a 4th major win and a Best in Sweepstakes win at The Skyline Brittany Club Specialty in Greeley, Colorado. His owner finally got to see him compete and what a show he put on. We are very thankful to the Dana's for allowing us to take Rusty away from them for a short time and show him off. He has made all of us very proud. Rusty has been exclusively handled by me, Christine Gourley, to all his points.
